Weekly Update

Well, it has been a jam packed week … we had fun shopping at the Garage Sale on Tuesday, sliding and gliding on the skating field trip on Wednesday, and creating Christmas fun at the museum on Friday! Thank you to all the parents who were involved in one way or another with all of these events. We have also started talking about Christmas Around the World, learning about how countries and cultures do things in ways that are different than how we celebrate here. We began a new unit in Math, one which I thought might be a little bit difficult to learn, but they were able to transfer the skills they already had learned and found success right away with it. I was so proud of them all!

Bible Memory:

Luke 2:9-12

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
