Well, it has been another great week. We have spent a lot of time playing with magnets and learning about what attracts and what repels, which has been a lot of fun for everyone. We also started a new unit in Gym, indoor hockey … this has proven to be a very exciting and enjoyable unit for everyone. This week we had a lockdown drill. I was pleased to see the students take this serious, and practice as though it was real. We did a great job, and Mr. Morris was pleased with how it went. Enjoy your long weekend!

• Bring in your Home Reading on your assigned day
• Math Mayhem is coming up Tuesday, January 30th – this is a great night to come and play different math games with your children. The event will run from 6:30-8pm on Tuesday, January 30th, and will be lots of fun.
• Pink Shirt order forms went home with your children the other day. Anti-Bullying day is coming up in February ands students will be invited to wear pink on that day in support of Anti-Bullying. Ordering a pink shirt is not mandatory, any pink shirt will be fine, this is just one option.
