Friday Update

It has been a great week, with lots going on! Thanks to all those who came out to Math Mayhem on Tuesday night. It was awesome to see kids enjoying math through all the different math games being played!

We also celebrated our learning and all that we are accomplishing on Tuesday afternoon by having a popcorn and movie party. Your child was asked to reflect on the year so far … what have they learned that they are good at, what are they still working on, and what do they want to learn how to do. It’s always great for them to look at what they have accomplished and how far they have come.

We also had our kickoff assembly for Jump Rope for Heart. It always gets them excited about skipping and having a healthy heart. Envelopes went home with your child today also. Your participation in this fundraiser is always so appreciated!

Love Guatemala hot lunch fundraiser – forms have gone home – they need to be returned to the office by Feb. 9th
Guatemala team is also doing a fundraiser where they ask students to bring in small toys (small stuffies, cars/trucks, good quality pencils) and they will be taking them with them to Guatemala. Collection will go until the 23rd of February. We have a box in our classroom to collect these items.
Jump Rope Fundraiser – Fundraising envelopes have gone home. They will need to be returned to school on our event day (March 1st)
