What a great week with lots going on! We had our First Nations Cultural Day, which was busy with switching from one station to another learning about different areas of the First Nations Culture. Art, food, totem poles, games, hunting/fishing … all sorts of good stuff. Also a huge thanks for supporting and participating in Jersey Day. It’s beautiful to watch our community and our country come together in support of the families and communities that have been devastated by this tragic event. And finally, swimming this afternoon was a blast! I love being able to just have fun and enjoy time with the students in such an enjoyable way (although I must admit, I am pretty tuckered out now that it’s over!)

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Reminders and Other Information:
- Remember to bring in your Home Reading on your assigned day
- We are excited with Grandparents Day coming up – remember to invite your grandparents, and if you don’t have any grandparents around, then invite an aunt or uncle, or someone else special to you!
- permission slips for service day have gone home, please return
- There have been lots of sweaters going missing in the last few weeks … if you could just check your sweaters at home and make sure you don’t have any extras or any that don’t belong to you, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
