Full and busy week …and now ready for a long weekend! I hope you all enjoy the extra down time this weekend 🙂 Service Day on Tuesday went so well. A huge thank you to the parents who volunteered, we couldn’t do it without you! The students seemed to really enjoy painting fish on the storm drains … although I will say, after being outside and walking around for a couple of hours, they were TIRED! Enjoy your weekend 🙂

Bible Memory:
1 John 4:7-11
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Reminders and Other Information:
- Reminder to bring in your Home Reading on your assigned day – I am noticing that we starting to be a little more forgetful, or it’s becoming a little less of a priority to read each night … I encourage you to continue to make time to read with your children, it is so important
- Class Pictures – Monday is our class pictures and students need to be dressed in FULL DRESS UNIFORM – please make sure your child bring their cardigan with them on Monday.
- Jeans Day – students may wear jeans on Jeans Day IF you purchase a jeans day pin at the office. This is to support the Children’s Hospital. If you don’t wish to pay $5 then your child may wear uniform
