Well, this is it … one week countdown to Spring Break. We have been working hard in Grade 2 and I think we are all ready for a break. This week we had our Safe and Unsafe Substances Assembly – learning about different caution symbols mean and how we can be careful and safe. We have also been talking about the Easter story, and the significance of that for us. A highlight for many was watching Charlotte’s Web. For Read Aloud we read Charlotte’s Web, so watching the movie was very enjoyable for all. Below are dates for our last week, as well as all of April’s Dates. Reminders and Other Information:
- Remember to bring in your Home Reading on your assigned day
- Reminder to bring in Little Hoopsters and Little Diggers forms this week if you haven’t already done so – extra forms are at the office if needed
- Swimming permission forms and Bannock order forms have gone home – both events take place pretty quickly when we return from Spring Break, so I am asking that both forms be returned BEFORE Spring Break
- Friday, March 16th is now a Knight Day
- March Scholastic Orders will be placed on Thursday
- Just a reminder that Highroad Knight hoodies are not part of the school uniform, they may be work on Knight Days only … they will not be allowed in class. If you send your child in this sweater regularly, please remind them of this
