Well, the countdown is on … literally! We started our balloon popping countdown this week. Each day we pop a balloon and there is something inside that is special for the day. Tuesday, we were allowed to rearrange the room and sit wherever we wanted. Wednesday we had 15 minutes of extra recess time. Thursday we were allowed to do all our work, all day, with a friend. Friday we did a scavenger hunt. There was lots of excitement!

Bible Memory:

In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us. Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world.

Reminder and Other Information:

• Bring in your Home Reading – I’m going to start collecting them, and not sending any new books home
• Just a reminder that Spring Sing is coming up quickly on Monday, May 28th at 6:30pm. The gym will be open at 6pm and students can make their way to the classroom by 6:15pm. Grade 2’s have been asked to wear shorts of any colour and summer shoes. They are to wear white shirts. school shirts are fine.
