A short but full week! We packed a lot in to these few days … from picture day, to science experiments where we made slime and ice cream, to buddy reading and some new math games, it has been busy! We used our pumpkin from the pumpkin patch as well. Cut open the top, pulled out the seeds and counted them all! I hope you all enjoy a restful long weekend.

- make sure you are practicing reading every night, this is key to learning and growth in Grade 2
- skating permission slips need to be returned if they have not already been
- parent teacher interviews – there is a sign up sheet right by the door of my classroom, please come and sign up for a time-slot if you have not already done so
- scholastic book fair will be open before and after school in the lobby
