Lots happening this week … we worked together in groups so get off a deserted island in math (they had to use their knowledge of fractions), and I’m happy to say they all made it off the island! We also have begun to practice some Readers’ Theatre performances – which they were all very excited about. Ask them about what character they are playing! We have also continued to work on our Insect Reports. We are nearing the completion of them, which I think they will feel is a great success as they have worked very hard on them! I hope you all have a wonderful long weekend, see you on Monday!

We will only be doing 6 words this week, as the words are a little bit trickier. They tie in with our science unit right now.

- Thursday is Library day – just a reminder to return library books on that day so your child can take out new books
- Gym strip goes home on Fridays and needs to be returned on Mondays!
