And just like that we say goodbye. I want to say a huge thank you for how so many of you blessed me and encouraged me as we ended the year. Thank you for the kind words and the gifts, they are very much appreciated. I have loved having your children this year, and have been so thankful for such a GREAT year! I hope you all have a wonderful and fun-filled summer!

Well, we are down to the final week! That is so hard to believe.
A huge thank you to the parent’s who joined us this morning for Fun Day. I appreciate your willingness (especially with a little bit of rain) to help out and make this day possible. Lots of fun was had, and the day went great. So thank you!
Also thanks to all the parents that joined us at the waterslides yesterday. We were so happy to see the sunshine, and had fun sliding all day long.
Flashlight – students have been invited to bring a flashlight to school for Monday. We will use them both Monday and Tuesday, and then they will bring them home again.
Thursday, June 20th is our last day, and students will be dismissed at 11:30am!
Please return any library books or home reading books that you have at home still.

Two weeks left and lots happening in our classroom! Our countdown this week was lots of fun … and very exciting each and every morning. This week we started off with Sit Anywhere you Like for the Day, Work with a Partner for the Entire Day, a Picnic Lunch Outside, Rock/Paper/Scissors Tournament and Paper Airplane Contest, and finally on Friday we had a Construction Afternoon. It was to watch them be creative and use their imaginations to build and create different things. We also (finally) did our Solar Ovens. The pizza boxes have been sitting in the classroom just waiting for a sunny day … while this took a long time to get to, they enjoyed making s’mores for Science. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Hard to believe that we are entering June and the last three weeks of the year! The time is just flying by … but we have lots going on in these last few weeks. We are starting our countdown to the end of the year, and the kids are all so excited about starting this on Monday!
