I hope you all enjoyed your extra long weekend and time with your family! Another short week this week, but lots going on.

Dates to Remember:

Feb. 10th – Oral Health Presentation – we have a guest coming in to do a 15 minute presentation with the kids about dental care, how to brush their teeth properly, etc.

Feb. 12th – Valentine’s Day dress-up (Pink, red, white causal day) – and we will do a little Valentine’s party in the afternoon on Friday.

1 John 4:7-19

Dear friends, let us love one another, for loves comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love, does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Reminders and Other Information:

• There is still more time to bring in any donations for the Guatemala team
• Class lists were sent home with each student last week to help with writing Valentine cards for everyone
• Love Guatemala day will be on February 15th. Forms have gone home to order hot lunch for February 15th, be sure to take your forms to the office if you want to order hot lunch. It will also be a pay to wear casual day where students can wear play clothes if they bring $2. All proceeds from the hot lunch and pay to wear casual will go towards building a school in Guatemala. This is a great opportunity for our younger students to support our High school missions trip.
