Bible Memory:
Psalm 138:1-5
“I will give You thanks with all my heart; I will sing praises to You before the gods. I will bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name. When I call, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength. All the kings of the earth shall give you thanks, O Lord, for they have heard the words of your mouth. And they will song of the ways of the Lord, for great is the glory of the Lord.”
Reminders and Other Information:
- Pumpkin Patch – the students may wear play clothes for the field trip. We will be going rain or shine so please dress appropriately! (Boots and a rain jacket are probably a good idea)
- Thank you for remembering to send back your home reading books. I have exchanged the books they had for new ones. You are not limited to reading the book that I send home, other books are a great idea. The book that goes home with your child is a book that is at the level your child is currently reading at. I have heard some students say that the book they got is too easy, but just so you understand how I select a book to send home, it is not only about being able to decode the words, it is also about understanding of what they are reading. So talking to your child and asking comprehension questions would be a beneficial strategy for helping your child move forward.
A Few Pictures from Our Week:
Could you please remind me of the time the field trip is today?
Thanks so much.
