A full week of school … was great but we are exhausted! It’s been such a pleasure getting to know each of them a little bit more this week. We have continued with some review and assessments to see where we are at. This week we had our first (ever?) whole school chapel, which was really great. We had all Grade 1-12 students in the gym and it was an awesome time of worship together. I hope you all have a wonderful (unexpected) long weekend.

Reminders and Other Information:

• If you have not yet brought in kleenex boxes, paint shirt and gym shoes, please do so as soon as possible
• Please return Comfort Kits as soon as you have them ready to go – deadline is October 6th
• A criminal record check will be MANDATORY to be in the classroom or to participate on field trips, please make sure you have these on file at the office, or get the process started right away
• Water bottles – I would encourage each student to have a water bottle … we don’t have a water fountain in the classroom, so it is important to bring their own
• Scholastic: periodically you will receive a scholastic book order. If you wish to order you can do so online with our class code: RC155750

Toonies for Terry: On Wednesday, September 21st we will be doing our annual Terry Fox Run. We are asking each student to bring in a donation of $2 (or more) to raise money for cancer research. Thanks!
