Spelling City

Hello Parents,

I was just reminded about Spelling City and wanted to let you know that I have added this week’s list. Spelling City, if you are unfamiliar, is a great way for your kids to practice spelling words each week. Games and other practice methods are available for you and your child to use. You can get to my lists by going to the link under Spelling City on my blog.

If you have any questions feel free to let me know! Thanks 🙂

Welcome to Grade 2!

Welcome back to a new year. I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and I am excited to work alongside you and your children for a great year.

I will usually post on the blog on Fridays for what is needed for the week ahead.

Today I just want to make a couple of quick notes …

  1. I just want to make sure that you are all aware of our new dismissal time – students will be let out from class at 2:55pm
  2. A newsletter is going home today with some important information, please make sure you read it and let me know if you have any questions.

Have a Great Summer!

Well, that’s a wrap! It has been a great year and I have been so blessed to have your children in my class this year. Thank you for entrusting them to me and for being involved and helping out throughout the year when and where it was needed. I have so appreciated that!

Also a huge thank you for all the gifts, cards and kind words that you have blessed me with. It has been a huge encouragement and I’m very grateful!

I hope you all have a wonderful break. Relaxing and restful, with lots of fun and adventure mixed in as well 🙂 Have a great summer, everyone. Blessings!
